A few days ago a man was lamenting that the horror in TN was "just another day." Responder wrote "Media wants headlines." I disagreed as this is historically a passive means of assmilitation of others. He said "You are really trying hard to sound smart." I wrote "I'm not smart."

I must be way off base, because the _very first_ word that comes to mind when I see your name is, "smart."
I'd like to posit that someone can be (even extremely) smart, yet burdened or struggling.
