As a USA immigrant of Persian Jewish genetics with both Hispanic and Ashkenazic blood, my parents worked. THey sponsored immigrant refugees from Jamaica in the 60s, emplyoying, housing and then funding their families to come here. The affection in my life came from Rosa and Lena.

Over 80% of my grandmother’s side died in the holocaust. Not Auschwitz but in other concentration camps. My parents separated when I was 2 1/2 and I was raised Jewish until my mom married my evil violent stepfather then no religion.
