I usually visit the hub before going grocery shopping cuz it calms me and helps prevent panic attacks from being around so many people.

Is that just since Covid for you Dan? Or long-term? Panic attacks in grocery stores has been a common problem for anyone with a tendency toward panic attacks for a few reasons, no natural light, limited singular point of exit/entry only and too much sensory input all contribute.

Groceries are a big trigger for me. Anywhere I can't see an exit and there are a lot of people. But not airplanes. Weird, that. Go figure? Thank goodness for delivery as I don't go to groceries anymore. Bad lighting and confinement do me in.

How on earth do you survive that? That's seriously worrisome. Stressors like that lead to PTSD, heart conditions, seizures and death. I hope you are able to get out or have some way of dealing.

Benzo dependent for 35 years and still groceries have triggered nosebleeds (with a deadly bleeding disorder that's bad) and seizures. My brother has no panic or anxiety issues but groceries trigger paralytic migraines. I worry for you :(

Worry I will. Benzos are the worst and deadliest withdrawal full stop. The longer on them and higher the dose, downright deadly. Benzodiazapine Withdrawal Syndrome is a medical emergency that can lead to status epilepticus and death. I hope you have consistent access. Take care!
