Adobe Flash is officially dead as of today. A li'l software company called FutureWave made a vector based animation program called FutureSplash in 1996. I remember the launch, sale sale, Adobe's failed LiveMotion (aka DeadMotion) and Adobe's move to "Win the Web" I'm tired.

It had a time and a place, sadly didn’t evolve and become a means to continue the creative streak it had, while becoming more of w truly accessible platform. At least we had some fun, and it gave us lessons on what not to do.

I could not have put it better myself very well said. It's still being used it's just not being used on the web which makes perfect sense to me! :-)
