Adobe Flash is officially dead as of today. A li'l software company called FutureWave made a vector based animation program called FutureSplash in 1996. I remember the launch, sale sale, Adobe's failed LiveMotion (aka DeadMotion) and Adobe's move to "Win the Web" I'm tired.

We all know the reasons Flash had to go, but I鈥檓 not up for all the dancing on its grave people do. The web felt a lot more creative back then.

It had its place. The all Flash sites were lovely for those with decent vision and some amount of hand mobility.
