118 new covid deaths in Massachusetts today. Most since April. Cases doubled from yesterday.

I am so sorry. Arizona is in bad shape to really bad shape and last night was ambulance after ambulance after helicopter after helicopter over my apartment I live right across from the major medical center farthest South so they are getting all of the Southern Arizona rural cases

You guys have it much worse there. My friend @sassybibrarian lives in Yuma and says it's holy hell. I worry about the both of you. Especially because people down there are far more nuts cuz of their cult leader.

As for me I keep my head as low as possible. Yuma is also awful for the same issues with covid-19 as well as the horrors of what has been going on with the seemingly unfathomable immigration issues that separate children from parents and put them in internment camps.

and now the govt is taking forever to get the vaccine to everyone. it's gonna be another year of this or more because of their incompetence.

Despite being one of the most simplistic parasites made of a piece of genetic code in a protein sheath viruses throughout history have been long-lived and very deadly. I never imagined it would take less than a year. Vaccines will help eventually. But eventually could be years.
