When did sales people on LinkedIn all shift to saying “when works for you?” when trying to arrange cold calls to sell stuff? I feel there was a shift and everyone moved to it over asking if youre interested. Some sales trainer somewhere must have told them it’s harder to decline

I don't know why but I saw it and I left as best I could I have to now go obliterate every bit of myself on there I will not participate in that I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw it

It seems to be a double edged sword, I’m sure it has its uses for career stuff but you really do have to filter people’s messages and work out who is just on for a quick sales pitch. The adage of “if it’s free you’re probably the product” is painfully true

It's even true when the motto is if you pay for your product say very expensive medical treatment it's not yours you pay for it and it belongs to everybody else between you and the FDA
