Here is a question I really struggle with: Why do Americans have a higher tolerance for COVID killing us, a higher tolerance for guns killing us, and a higher tolerance for our neighbors being hungry than citizens from virtually every other country?

Do you think it's that or do you think that Americans have a higher intolerance for being proven so publicly wrong now because of social media? Feels like a hubris issue on some level.

I just suggested denial and that we don't admit that we're violent because we don't want to believe it's but we are very violent Society. So I think denial is part of it and maybe shame?
