It sounds just like what's going on in the USA but we've been at it a little bit longer so our aristocratic 1% as we call them have been at this awhile and you see what it's doing to the world. Hard to wake up and look in the mirror and go damn it we are the terrorists.

Arizona, where I've lived the majority of my adult years, is a mining state. It's a troubled industry with a lot of agendas from powerful people and companies with terrible track records regarding worker protections much less environmental concerns.
Why we have such an insatiable desire for Fossil Fuels, rare metals and radioactive materials in 2020 makes no sense. We have quite a few alternative sources AND a whole new era of alternative energies and materials.
In that way the southwest and Southern California are very similar to you. We have a lot of sunshine we have a lot of wind. What Arizona doesn't have though is water and if we get in trouble getting water a lot of lives will be lost.
