Is that by choice? I keep storming off all social media but this and FB are my all haves when it comes to friends, fun, and venting! It's a small community but I like it. :)

Welcome to the hood Fred! Chinese Cuisine isn't vast in Astoria, but thats slowly changing. Check out La Mian Lounge or Ma Lala or Bund on Broadway for some quality Chinese feasts!

Are either of those in a Jewish neighborhood seriously this is not a joke although there's a lot of jokes about it. In the east coast it is very common to find the best Chinese restaurants in Jewish neighborhood and we Jews hide from Christmas at Chinese restaurants!

Astoria is very diverse! In term of neighborhood, it is more #Greek than anything. In fact, Astoria was known as "Little Athens" for having the largest community of Greeks outside of Greece.

Never! How about a silver lining story. My grandfather was a NYC alderman in the mid-late 1940s who challenged Fred Christ Trump along with LaGuardia and Rockefeller for equal housing rights in Trump properties as they would not accept non-white, non-christians. Fair Housing WON!
