Rarely SEO does knowledge management and representation. The Semantic Web cannot be "games" not it is a uniform vision or manifestation of anything. It is a way to represent knowledge, as you said, in an interoperable way, allowing people to "follow their nose".

And yes, there is this thing that sometimes the Web feels more of a TV channel and less than an information Ocean. But that depends on the narrow wats we access the Web of data.

I agree. Also the Technologies we use are dependent on us. We can use Semantic Web techniques today and be successful as many Industries do. It is definitely also how we use a given platform rather than what the platform is. Humans are the Tipping Point in technology. Always! 🙂
