The thing is - sometimes employees get used to this level of abuse. It can seem normal until you are removed from such a toxic situation.

I find it very difficult that anyone would allow that normalization without fighting back I come from a different generation of Union people we fought back fight back people.

So clear once distant to it but allowances come easy while suffocating from antagonistic leadership.

Can't argue a truth. Life is understood backwards as Kierkegard suggested. It's sad what we believe about people and what they believe about us and The Masks they think they have to wear. Often in age delusion fades and clarity becomes well, for lack of a better word, clear.
