ya know, I think I really just want to write html and css and never even think of the word react ever again

my favorite period of web dev was where I just really really cared about web standards and semantic markup and literally did not know any javascript

can I just build someone a rly clean, accessible website that doesn't immediately download a gigabyte of someone else's code

I still have this book (from 2005)!
