Just finished a two-year curriculum for #WebDev. It took a few hours to refine an outline. For the first year, there is not one Web language, tool or practice and could be done with no computer at all. Year two all the tech! What subjects do you imagine are in that first year?

Second year specifically. First year provides groundwork. Very important issue no matter!

It's more a second year thing, but how would you leverage tech for your developing, that doesn't literally cost the earth i.e. how performance can use more energy (from device, to server farm)?

Interesting topic. If well equipped with multiple tools and first year super-powers ;-) this would emerge from individuals and groups. Iteratively. So yes, but baked in.

I hope privacy & security are part of the first year.
