I've been following this since it started, as weird as that sounds. I'm from Tucson. A lot of the photos I've seen are places I recognize.
The last time fire made me this anxious I was 10 years old and ash was falling into Tucson from the Aspen Fire that destroyed Summerhaven.
Terrifying would be semantically accurate.

Feel you to my core😟 The Aspen fire took 85,000 acres and over a month to contain. Finally, monsoons and firefighters brought it to an end. #Bighorn appears more brutal. The Catalina range is pink from suppression chemicals, the smoke is awful. Anxiety and sadness rule our days.
