I just deleted a post and blocked a person who said I should never deny I am white and privileged. I am not "white", and I live under the poverty line. To say that without knowing a damned thing about a human being IS the heart of racism.

Complete judgement based on perception, not fact. FUCK that shit. This is no time for smacking down OTHERS.

Sometimes having white privilege isnt about being privileged as in money and power, but as in you are privileged within certain contexts because others perceive you as white. For example, you're less likely to be accused of shoplifting because the store clerk thinks you're white

That's a very true thing and it's perception. And it's bias and its based on classification systems without logic or fact. I call foul on it all.

I don't think "white privilege" means you're privileged, it means "all else being equal, you have an advantage over a black person". I know, its a misleading provocative term ... which is probably why it caught on.

I know what it means I'm angry beyond Despair and I really feel suicidal for the first time in many months because I feel as if I belong nowhere and sadly that is the truth. I want to die. I want to rest with my husband now please
