I'd feel better if they were doing something about the hotel my neighbor is running in the house she owns next door....but the government says zoning laws don't apply to AirBnB, just uncultivated plants over 5 inches and mixed race couples in Scottsdale.

As for the b&b, there are crackdowns on many here for a range of reasons. I'd call the city prosecutor's office for land law.

I've already talked to the city. Seems our state legislature passed a law saying cities can't regulate short-term rentals of private property. Nobody questions real estate developers in Scottsdale....they make too much money.

My youngest brother is the former Pima County Prosecutor, Land Law. He served as Attorney General in Land Law. He has been threatened many times. One was a standoff I refer to as "Little Waco". He's out now, for the very reasons you cite. Developers of land are often predators.
