Small world! Joan's mom raised a heck of a daughter! Jett smashed her fist right in the face of that unpleasant but accurate term of the early 80s "cock rock" scene. That took courage (dare I quip 'balls'?) :D

My ex-wife worked for Van Halen in the David Lee Roth days. When they broke up is when we had our first child and she decided not to go back to work for them. Went to a lot of concerts and even though I wore earplugs, I鈥檓 surprised I have any semblance of hearing left.

In the book of me, Van Halen wasn't after David Lee Roth. I rocked hard as listener and player and no earplugs. My hearing is not as good as it used to be, but no different than general family age-related hearing loss. I now will share the earworm you just gave me: "Good Times"
