Oh the irony! One of the lawyers for the Prosecution (who attacked me relentlessly and viciously throughout the trial) lost about 20kg (at least) during the trial. Afterwards he confided (I'm no longer an MD) that his T2DM was now in remission since he had adopted the LCHF diet!
Just listened to this podcast and it just refreshed my memory of the challenging years @ProfTimNoakes went through fighting for the truth. To all the medical specialists, doctors, dietitians who challenged him - I wonder how many of them are following the lifestyle "secretly"

Last year I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. They put me on Metformin, but I‘m allergic to it. I went on a LCHF diet and my blood work now shows that I am no longer diabetic. The doctor says that doesn’t matter I will always be diabetic because I was diagnosed once.

Doctors are usually not medical scientists. They are often more lazy and stupid than patients and when face failure, run or blame. There is a belief here in the US that the patient has no authority when they work for us. They are also not in our beings. one size never fits all.
