While it's wrong to have a "how's it feel now" smack at people isolating themselves due to infection when I've lived 57 years and had 38 total of them isolated from anyone? I cannot take NSAIDs, Tylenol, refuse opiates and have seen 10 friends in 3 years. Some know. Most never.

I did write a lot of books and got a hell of a lot of work and wild when I could. I'm a social person who enjoys downtime too, but isolation? It is a form of torture for me. It doesn't mean I don't laugh or love. It's just really not easy to do. Some know. I hope most never do.

I'm truly sad you are experiencing this. I have learned / am learning coping skills slowly, as surely you must be as well. I am open to anyone's experiences and insights as I have not coped well especially in recent years. That "privileged to see" is exactly what I feel, too. 💙
