This happened to me over holiday break -- no fallback food at the buffet place and it was too loud and the lights hurt -- and I cried about it.
(My grandparents were amazing about it though -- grandma walked me through everything and helped me narrow down the decisions!)

Sensory overwhelm is by far the first trigger to almost all my spectral (pun pun pun alert) quirks, be they autistic or OCD or yes.
I find holding a paper over choices in a list so I can't see them can help me when I get overwhelmed with choices like that.
