That's good! I got fired while on medical leave after being hired with a long-documented disability as I was "unfit" for a startup environment. Oh, HR did it on the day my husband was being buried just for that extra touch of love and kind consideration. Glad an advocate exists.
Finally coming to terms with my disability, and oh what wonders an HR that understands and advocates for you can do to help with (small, you think, minor, you think, but ones that make such a big difference) accommodations at your workplace!!

Tanvi, snarks aside, I truly am delighted you are getting the support you need. And, "coming to terms" with a condition that alters your life significantly is truly one of the most difficult adjustments to face. Keep progressing and being supported. May it always be so for you!

Oh my, that sounds terrible. My current organisation has been nothing but supportive through this journey of diagnosis, various treatment, heartbreak, and finally acceptance and lifestyle changes. I hope you are in a place that is a good fit and makes things better now.

Yeah, retired and living in semi-rural beauty. What was done and how was shameful and that they would not seek out FREE HR seminars for HR just shows me who has really proven unfit. No more employers for me. I'm my own HR department now lol! Best wishes, cheers to your success!
