I call this the "Theory of the Shit Box." We are all born with one. There will be misery, loss, horror, sickness, war, betrayal and ultimately death for us no matter what. So why do we keep putting more shit in shit box when it's FULL? Victim making is often a form of oppression.
No shortage of misery in the world. Some of us prefer to band together to ease the burden instead of joining in the cycle of victimization.
