June 15, 2013. Open Web Camp (year 4 or 5? someone help!) traveling home. I collapse in the terminal at LAX. Somehow, I find @AccessibleJoe by my side and driving me to the emergency room of his local Los Angeles hospital, where he stayed at my side.

The hospital determined I could either be admitted immediately for treatment, but then I would be stuck in Los Angeles for an unknown amount of time. This was the point my bone marrow failed fully. @AccessibleJoe was there. I don't know how. I don't care. My friend Joe was there.
