Exactly the problem, and those of us from the Old School of Web Rock know it. We also are in part responsible for letting it happen. I think we activist #webdev #webdesign #UX & #webmakerAtLarge Folk forgot our power of force. It's expected by a fragmented selfish world we do so.

You failed me not, the rich walled gardens spending vast sums to “improve” the developer experience did. Anything in the pursuit of the almighty advertising dollar over the experience of using the web as was.

I still manage to reach the text of a news article at least 15% of the time. What's more, I can sometimes even scroll to the final paragraph! Occasionally in under 10 minutes and without crashing the browser!

10 minutes? Wow! That's very optimized (snarkle). You should try it with less RAM.
