Wow. Lots of boars horsing around in Italy. So many they actually walk through the outskirts of small towns, or even Rome. Peccaries, we don鈥檛 have.

Michele: Very similar - the wild boar is considered along with pigs to be "old world" creatures whereas Peccaries (four types) are "new world" beasts. They share social characteristics such as living in packs (sometimes as large as 100!) and aggression! Wild boars charge too. HA!
