Thought deep thoughts while belly gazing this weekend. I think most of us face transitional periods especially as we age. "The World Wide Girl Desires a More Local World" is what is emerging for me. Think and act local to have an affect on the global. #Share your #TuesdayThoughts

I am old enough to remember the dream of a humanity united by the network, sharing knowledge and beauty. Today we have picture of cats, hate speech and school parent groups on whatsapp. And I am discovering the power of here and gaze. Loving the neighbor and talking face to face

Michele! How poetically articulated! You and I are share this! I thrive when I can serve and love my neighbors as they do me. We share food. We share hearts and 'chistes' (what's the Italian word for "little joke or witty remark"?) and divine respect for nature. #tuesdaytruths 馃尩

Totally right. Sharing links and pictures hasn't given us much joy. Not as sharing time or just even attention.

Thank you for getting my point and the comfort that I am not alone in this awareness within my age and peer group experience. This is at heart why we get along. These years you demonstrate to me incredible loyalty, empathy and a form of friendship I recognize as so important.

Yes, Molly. This very conversation demonstrates something about building relationships online, so I contradict myself and the good of the net remains assessed.
