I find myself more successful a human in owning my own actions and cleaning my own messes than the outward successes of my past, which were stuck in status-quo capitalist thinking of my life's formative environment in the USA. I've been told otherwise. Am I wrong?

Molly, I haven't fought the battles you've fought, and the fire by which I've been tried hasn't half the heat you've faced. If my career sinks from here, but then I win half the battles you have, I will die a successful man.

What an amazing thing to say thank you so much. It takes the world to make us whole. All of my gratitude forever and always 鉂わ笍鉂わ笍鉂わ笍

I think we鈥檙e all better when we own our actions and clean up our messes and wreckages in the past as much we can. You still (to me anyway) have all the success of the past because you taught me a lot about the web through your work. I don鈥檛 think you鈥檙e wrong.

You're the only person that gets to define your own success, so anyone else's opinion of it is irrelevant, no?

Indeed, the heart of my concern! I, too, consider growth as a human more important than most status-quo pursuits.
