I wonder if that’s a “legal” publication? As in rights negotiated to publish in Russian.

Oh, but look, Molly, there’s a tiny cherry tree wedged into a corner. That’s sensitive Zen design, isn’t it? (Hope it means some dough to the authors, too. The cherry tree is too small to count as a consolation price.)

Not upsetting so much as "how the you know what did I miss that!" I always love seeing translations of books on which I've worked. Thank you for sharing. Comfort is the fact that I am laughing my ass off over here. I'm a child of the Cold War so Soviet Block jokes work for me😂
