Some have too much water, we've got a reminder of what if there's no water. Still no service to my area at 24 hours now! Sobering experience to be on a working ranch complete with collected and stored #Water in a desert #Sonora #Tucson #Pima #Desert #WheresTheWater
Ajo/Kinney outage update: most customers should see water service restored by midnight. We're urging impacted customers in that zone to boil water for one minute before consuming, for the next 48 hours.

Saw a boil water alert for a heavily populated area just outside of Philly yesterday (water main break, low pressure allowing backup of waste matter into supply).
We really take water and sewer systems (shout out to trash removal as well) for granted. Good luck!

No joke! I always keep backup drinking water. While I had grasped the ecological issues, it's a new experience to be on a ranch during such an event. Water collection from rain, grey water-we still have a significant deficit that may never be corrected in this climate of change.

I've been behind on my preparedness since moving earlier in the year. Now that we're in hurricane season, I've grabbed some water. Really different disaster possibilities in our regions, ja?

After a lot of breaking, yes. C'est la Vie, Oui? *hugs*
