Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. As a teen, I almost stepped on a copperhead twice. It almost happened a third time running off the porch to show my grandfather my dress-up outfit when I was in kindergarten. I don't even tolerate them in glass. Nopity, nope, nope, nope!

My mother was horrified by snakes. As a kid I remember she let the snake guy put a snake around my neck (I was fascinated, of course) while sitting there petrified but letting me explore nonetheless. Copperheads are dangerous, so you get a pass ;-)
