It's been said in many ways to live life with no regrets. I'm not sure a well lived-life is possible without a few regrets. I have a few that I had to make some peace with and know I still regret what I didn't or did do that I could have done differently. Do you have regrets?

I agree, but that takes time and self-realization. My favorite quote that captures this comes from Søren Kierkegaard. "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards." We have to do the work if we want to understand our lives to some degree.

wshew. I know I'm not the status quo but that one and the baggage one get me. If a prospective love interest is in my life at 56 years and has NO baggage, that worries me more than a carry on. Ha!

I regret my general lack of productivity through my early twenties. I had no idea that time is so fleeting... 🤷🏼‍♂️

SO FAST. I think of people as young when they are now not young and/or not with us. It flew by. And gets faster.

I think you’re right. It more “live life w/ as few regrets as possible”.

Yes. I feel that a few stinging regrets help shape us into better people. Someone who truly has no regrets is likely lacking in empathy.

A few that I will take with me when I leave this mortal coil.
