Here's a question for #designers in general but #Web specifically: Does the current world unrest influence how you design in terms of color, shape, influence, inspiration etc. as in past troubled times? If so, care to share? #webdesign #web #design

A bit. I spend a lot more time then I use too trying to make my messaging more friendly / upbeat / positive. Example: instead of email is invalid, I may do: the email doesn't look quite right, please double check. Or something like that.

That's also personal and professional growth Martine :) You are perfecting your ability to message both with honesty and kindness. I admire that so much!

Yes. I would definitely avoid red backgrounds with white text basically everywhere (which otherwise might be a reasonable 'error' scheme). I'm also now very aware of the importance of choosing images/stock art that highlight diversity without appropriation.

These are very good practices to my way of thinking. Authenticity is a powerful tool.

I've always been very colourful. I find with all the crappiness in the world I am getting brighter & more 'in your face. I struggle to keep it 'material. However, in my content I am turning more point form, because I think people are headlining instead of reading.

I'm more colorful now too, and this is one for the history books "People are headlining instead of reading." IMO part of our disrupt these days has to do with illiteracy and ignorance often worn like a badge of honor.

My thoughts kinda touch on this when I look at cars. Was at an intersection yesterday and the 4 cars on the cross street were: grey, grey, grey, and grey.
