Few will remember, but we once had a "Where are the women" panel at SXSW. I think it was the same year as the first "Blogging While Black" - both lasted a few years and were wonderful. I miss those conversations, which still matter despite being overrun by hate. Anyone remember?

I can't say as I'm not in it, but for about 10 years people hired me because I was a woman so they could cover ass, not because they cared about me sometimes. This is not just my perception as others have pointed out it out many times. I hope resources will help. We're here.

I don't say what I don't mean. I want to see you out from behind that podium although I understand the model and did it many times. But energy like yours is best when it has room. I need to clarify my snark before. I am one of the luckiest people on earth because of the Web.,,
