You should see the really scary spiders and reptiles here! And yes, I've lived here most of my life so it happens. They come out especially after weather when it warms up, which is happening here now. LOOKOUT! MONSTER ARIZONA TARANTULA! :D

More room for me then lol! It's great for my bones, which are losing mass due to long illness inside them and genetic arthritis and peripheral neuropathy from my Maternal side of the family! I gotta have warm. I gotta have open sky. What about your preferences? Seasons?

That's terrible, I'm sorry. I'm from the North East, so that's comfortable for me.
I'm pretty adaptable overall, but I was in Pheonix for a conference and I just got dehydrated so quick. It's like you don't even notice your losing moisture!

We have every kind: Oceanic, volcanic - The #Sonora Desert is so much nicer than the Mojave, which was brutal, and I had shelter. The homeless broke my heart as they huddle in "safe areas" the city designates (not enough)

Phoenix is paradise compared to the issues in the non strip Vegas. I think I have a pic, I'll look. Certain groceries and stores give an outdoor area where they bring their carts and tents and wait out the storm. People pass out on the sidewalks in summer. Tunnel city below too.
