A #Scorpion in my unfolded laundry. I didn't notice it but Honey went nutty for it. The small ones are venomous. This was a smaller one! I wanted a pic but my boot heel smushed it in defense of Honey. Sorry #spiders I love my #cat. Desert critters need to announce themselves 1st!

This is what is going to keep me from moving to AZ, Mols! Must make plans to get together if I ever get out there.

I would love that. I'll take you to the reptile and spider room at Arizona Sonora Desert Museum ;-)

Uhh is this the first time this happened? You are too calm if this is the first time this happened.

You should see the really scary spiders and reptiles here! And yes, I've lived here most of my life so it happens. They come out especially after weather when it warms up, which is happening here now. LOOKOUT! MONSTER ARIZONA TARANTULA! :D

Accept for rattlesnakes, they forget to warm before defending. Here, it is centipedes and some spiders that are poisonous. Of course in the jungle areas there are snakes, and other critters, that don't warn first.

Rattlers have to be listened for - usually I see their dinner and here that rattle and just quietly turn and walk away :D
