Yes, is as everything bad we believed to finally leave behind in the 20th century is making a strong comeback for no reason whatsoever. I try to focus on anything that sends me good vibes โ€” art, nature, friends, well-meaning people that hasn't lost humanity yet.

Don, your plan makes absolute sense to me and it works. However, I also believe a certain amount of awareness with the world around me is a built-in bug/feature. It's why I first fell in love with the World Wide Web! ๐Ÿ˜€
