What's your line on affectionate gesture versus contact which can be considered weird by some? I used to hug everyone! As a child, I'd hug strangers and tell them I loved them! I'd stare for hours at people and chatter constantly, all once considered "bad" and we got spankings.

We must now ask. How do you teach that to children with unusual behavioral traits who grow up to be adults with unusual behavioral traits? LOL (serious question)
