The fact that the managers here think the #ADA and #Section508 (they receive federal monies) exist to protect them suggests that #accessibility rights are just not understood or cared about not just on the Web. I sent them to @LFLegal site to educate without conflict or money.

It is a problem when anyone talking about civil rights is seen as someone motivated by greed. Civil rights laws should be the engine of inclusion, not a source of fear and backlash.

May I quote that? Everywhere? It seems so crystal clear to me. But people seem to want to use law as a weapon system rather than a guidance system.
