I really thought for sure this would never be something I'd see but you know there's that climate stuff and stuff. 馃 the pigeons are going to have to go down the street to the IHOP to get breakfast. 馃惁 #Snowpocalypse #MojaveDesert #LasVegas

Light dusting of snow

It's not stopped in certain areas and 3 inches is not a light dusting for the Las Vegas Valley, my dear. Also, it is windy, below freezing and roads are closing due to black ice. This type of event has rarely been document! Not to mention what kind of agony it causes. Pretty tho!

By Montana standards, it is a light dusting. What I hated were whiteout blizzards. Many times I drove over the center line to make sure I was on the highway. On dirt roads I depended on fence posts as an estimate.

That may well be in the Valley, but we has mountains and this is Southern Nevada. Northern Nevada is rather cold and often snows.

For black ice and blizzards, I never used high beams. On low beam, I could see the black ice reflection and the light didn't reflect from the snow. Breaking is an art, because when the wheels stop turning, there is no turning. Sleigh ride on the highway.
