I do wish Twitter made the alt text more discoverable to sighted users. The current state of things makes it harder to learn from others.

At least there's an option - FB's AI attempts are not pretty at all.
I simply alt="" in the text field with Facebook. At least that has some relevance and not just "might be a picture of a man" lol

It's in the dog food stage of software much less AI. Not even at alpha. And voice input is still baby stepping at al[pha or so. These aren't easy problems to solve, but of course the accessibility afterthought if thought about at all syndrome didn't help progress them faster.
