I just had yet ANOTHER woman tell me "You should find yourself another husband to take care of you." What is with that? My mother deeply instilled a fierce sense of independence in me, so much so I have trouble with real intimacy. Why *women* tho? Men don't ever say such a thing.

My husband gets VERY frustrated when I don鈥檛 let him take care of me enough. I鈥檝e been learning to surrender to him for some self-care. He is hands off when it comes to my work schedule & professional events. It makes for better teamwork.

The one regret I have about Ray is he fooled me until he couldn't anymore by letting me think he was healthier so I could travel for work and time with my Mom. I can't be mad about it though, it was a gesture of him supporting me being me the best way he knew how. 馃尭馃挏馃榾
