I logged into Flickr yesterday and it had been 16 YEARS since my last log in. I remember it's wonder as social network for visual communicators. Now Scumbags run what would have been nextgen BBSs but for the sell-out factor. I'm isolated due #a11y and the 300 baud modem saved me!
Gentle reminder that for many disabled and chronically ill people, our communities only exist accessibly on social media. Deleting FB, IG, and more isn't a solution. It just leaves more disadvantaged people at risk. Demanding accountability is the inclusive way forward.

Yeah, the trick is it isn't set up for groups. Really there is no other social media that allows for group interaction that isn't in messages while leaving room for those of us who run pages. Mastodon is great, but not really in the same operating space.

This was never supposed to happen. Greed makes sociopaths of many, sadly. I'd rather have ethics, but then again, I'm famous for my crazy ;-)
