I wonder what happened and how we could have evolved Web Applications and declarative, accessible and open stacks alongside the big X. Why did one have to win? We live in an age of #javascript which ain't ALL bad, but abstraction of the declarative has severely damaged #open Web!
I am often mystified by why some are so critical of CSS, especially its cascading nature. The fact that most of those critics were male had escaped me, but this strikes me as a key insight.
