Many, if not most, of the great resources for learning CSS were made by women. I can’t help but wonder if that’s why some men struggle with it so much. Long threads arguing about CSS, pointing to subpar tutorials. Too many men simply cannot respect anything created by a woman.

Never thought about that, but it's true. I don't differentiate between women and men. It's skill and passion I see. I attribute this to strong female role models in my life, e.g. first and foremost my mother, grandmothers, aunts.

It's fascinating but research into color perception must continue - so much more goes into color - physical strength of eye and visual cortex, our cultural backgrounds and adaptations as we move through a world of site and sound. The more we know, the better education potential!
