Anyone remember the movie Repo Man? Really cool film. And there really are Repo Men. Roger the repo guy showed up at my door today and wanted to take my car. I'm one month behind. New bank took over and didn't notify. Repo Man cannot take it. That car is my house on January 1 ffs

Tmw it's impounded until I pay one month behind they've never done that before it's a new bank. Hopefully I'll figure out something. I do have another car but it's not drivable as I have to clear the title. I think I'm going to watch Repo Man again for the laugh & the soundtrack.

That's nuts. I don't know how it would even make sense for them to hire a repo man vs. just mailing a late payment notice after just one month. I hope you can work it out. Maybe call them to negotiate a payment plan, appeal to their bottom line if nothing else?
