The Holzschlag Trust, which was formed in 2013 by @knowbility and maintained by @BigDesign folks like @BrianKSullivan with such kindness to me in hard times, well - I'm thinking it should be opened up to others in the industry for modest crisis support. To do this I need you!

There needs to be some guidelines and dare I use the term "standards" (heh) in place as well as rotating teams of judges who will determine separately from me (no personal bias) to grant any awards the come from fundraising efforts for crises in our community. What do you think?

The idea is to create a means of aiding friends and colleagues who for specific reasons (war, natural disaster, sudden illness and//or death of self and/or of primary partner are examples) need a couple of hundred dollars or so to see them through a rough patch.

The Trust will of course be completely #openBook #openSource and all incoming and outgoing funds will be in the public eye always and forever. There will need to be a sort order (ha) for who gets funded and good evidence as to why judges chose a given application and funds.

I am very happy to see you back planning the future and taking the reins of your life. And, well, if you come to Milano you owe me a dinner and that’s it.

I've NEVER BEEN TO ITALY!!! It drives me bat-crap crazy considering I've spent a lot of time in nearby countries. This is a dream for the "I call it a fuckit not bucket list" list. :D

I'd like to assist. Let's talk accessible form applications and awareness initiatives. Sounds like we need to grow some decision trees.

That would never not be in the plan and it would be great to have someone to lead that charge. It will take some time to get it right I'm sure but it's a goal to which I am profoundly dedicated. Thank you so much 4 seeing the value and your support moving forward. XO m
