Who is working on color management?

I do know other folks within the browser companies that could help - what's your concern if I may ask, and is it with both browsers or back to the browser-to-print color conversion conversation? That was a proposal from Håkon Wium Lie and the @csswg going on quite some years ago.

Actually, color management is critical to the display of color spaces, other than sRGB. Hardware has advanced, but not software. HDR movies is a separate issue. Digital photography has far out paced the browser's ability to correctly display them.

I know this not from the perspective of a student of color but from the video DRM problems and h.264 which is a standard but not a standard for Web. Alternatives like ogg really didn't get much of a chance. Too much lucre to be made once broadband reached critical mass alas alas!
