People do it all the time! Intentional infiltration is what can break cycles of human stupidity an infinite loops in the working world. Our diversity is our greatest strength. And challenging the status quo is a proven way humans progress. One has to be ready to not be accepted.

I'm not questioning that people do it all the time. I'm questioning use of the word "join" if what you intend is "invade and reform". :-) "I refuse to 'fit in' because I'm here to show you the error of your ways" doesn't sound like a winning attitude.

Maggie, yes with that clarification, definitely not the same thing as going into a dark work/group situation with a genuine desire to make a difference. One is activism, the other is just selfish :)
