Nope! I learned a hard lesson. And then I went on to marry a wonderful man a rock and anchor with whom I shared a year-and-a-half of bliss before he passed. A love story for the ages. I got lucky how many people get a happy marriage? I remain very close to my other friend.

Thank you it nearly broke me losing him both emotionally and physically in my health but I will treasure every moment of authentic, honest love and companionship. Forever grateful. How about yourself?
This is exactly how I feel too. I wish I had had more self-esteem when I was younger but the should have could have would have stuff has not exactly been helpful for moving forward all aspects of life including work and love. :-)

I strongly agree. My challenge has been self-respect, esteem. I've a very low self-image despite knowing I'm extremely bright and highly capable when well. I've been at this for a full career. We are creating a new frontier certain factions which the Old Guard is threatened by.
